Mealworms
(Tenebrio molitar)
Mealworms make a fantastic pet food for reptiles, fish, and birds. They have a nutrient profile high in proteins, fats, micronutrients, and beneficial microbes. Every 100 grams of raw mealworm larvae contains approximately 206 calories and approximately 25 grams of protein. Mealworms also contain potassium, copper, sodium, selenium, iron, zinc, and are a great source of essential fatty acids as well.

Dubia Roaches
(Dlaptica dubia)
Dubia roaches are a popular feeder insect among tarantula, amphibian, and reptile enthusiasts. Being high in protein, fat and micronutrients but low in calcium make them a desired feeder insect for animals prone to digestive issues. Their inabbility to climb smooth surfaces, jump or fly along with their low-to-no odor and relatively slow movement makes them easier to handle than crickets.
